Illustration as a genre.

An illustration is an drawing, painting, photograph or other work of art that is to create the user who looks at the illustration to think or imagine what the illustration portrays. Many Illustrations have been created throughout history to show what the artist thought, imagine or used for political gain. Using an illustration is a good way of getting into someones creative side and swaying their thoughts towards an arguement or vision.
